Day 2 - this is getting tiring

I awoke at 530am, 600am to check results, after that i couldn't go back to sleep, as usual because thats how it has been for the past 5 semesters. got dressed and stuff by 9am and des was still sleeping (i think?) LOL! anyhoos, i think we were down at the lobby by 10am and ready for good ol' hongkong breakfast!

we walked around causeway bay for awhile and we saws this porridge shop, it was quite nice, then we ordered 6 you tiaos, you might be thinking oh so small for 6 pple, can finish...IT WAS HUGE LAH but was very nice! freshly made from the baker's hand! and the porridge was hot and superb, very good bfast indeed!

we decided to head to tsim tsa tsui or something =X the famous place in kowloon, we walked around abit, and decided to take the "mid - high lvl" escalators, they have this form of transport that takes you to the peak of the place with shops all inbetween and you are able to get off at different levels and go into the shops blah blah, the pictures will tell of more details later. we were tired, fine, we headed into pacific coffee for a drink to relax and chill, after getting our lazy butts off, we walked around again, looking for places to shop and find good bargains.

a warning, if you do not intend to spend all ur money in one place, do not go to TTT because THEY HAVE ALL THE HIGH END GOODS THERE! its like a bloody paragon x 10 with prada and all that everywhere! some places looked quite familiar to me since the time i came to HK. eventually we walked all the way to Peninsular Plaza, Asia's best hotel! it was grand! it was huge! it was magnificent! and the cars parked there were eye candyyy ;) we used the toilet (like what every other singaporean would do when they go into a hotel they are not staying in =P) and took some pictures. that was when the rain started to pour down zzz.

we went inside to the hotel about 3-4 times deciding if we should grab a bite to eat here or should we quickly run out. we did that and guess what, we made our first purchase at a watsons in HK, 3 umbrellas ! haha! they were darn useful and all 3 umbrellas were colour co-ordinated, as you will see later in the pics

in the end, we decided TTT was not a place for us, so we decided to head to Mong Kok! or ladies market! for everyone to shop, well ofcourse the girls would be happy right? heh.

it wasn't a long ride away, the MTR was packed and when we arrived, we were greeted to a sight that was like bugis village x 10, it was huge! and the amount of stuff they were selling, would cause the girls to stay at mong kok itself for atleast minimum 2-3 days to cover every shopping area there, from the buildings to the markets around.

we went around looking for clothes, shoes, and bags and the girls accessories of course. met back at a certain timing, (not gonna go into detail of the shopping, its crazy) and decided to go for dinner.

we finally found a decent place to eat, it seemed like a restraunt but the prices were very cheap as compared to if u ate in a place similiar to that in SG.

we entered the REDD light area ;) ;) of HK, so as to atleast catch a glimpse of what it is like in different countries, MAN'S PARADISE, lol! anyway, walking was good, got lots of electronics and lava lamps for myself :) and some clothes. after which smelly toufu went into our bellies as we headed back to causeway bay for supper.
